Countdown to CodeFest 2016

The Event

Great minds talk ideas. Greater ones still execute them.

Welcome, fellow hacker. We at DPS Bangalore East are thrilled to unveil DPSE CodeFest 2016. We hope you will join us on the 9th of July to create something new and innovative. The goal of CodeFest '16 is to create a discourse of ideas. It's a great opportunity for code enthusiasts to network. We want to host a hackathon where ideas and innovations flow free.

Participants will be given a theme (will be announced a few days before the fest). Using any platform or language of their preference, they will be expected to develop something new and useful. GUI isn't a big criteria. The best ideas are simple- be creative. Think out of the box.

We recommend that fellow hackers check out and get used to version control systems like Git. We plan to host a local git server for participants to collaborate on. Even after the CodeFest is over, enthusiasts can continue working and collaborate with other participants on their projects. Please bring your own 4G dongles and/or routers as backup.
